Since the comment section in the wrap-up article is locked (for a good reasons I am sure) I took the liberty upon myself to make this so people can share their thoughts about it if they feel so inclined.
But first of all: congrats to the winners! Your entries were miles better than I could have ever come up with <3
Now onto personal opinions.
I don't think this was very good one. Mostly because the categories felt just slight variations of the same thing. Yes, they were all theme appropriate but they didn't felt different enough from each other compared to the much more distinct categories in the recent Winter and Halloween events. Simply having more categories will not make it feel more grandiose if they are too same-y.
As for CivChan's ratings, I can't really comment on that because I am just a cargo cult prompter. They were probably fine-tuning it during the events because I noticed the scoring of my images dropped towards the end.
