Entry notes
Liang Xue is a monk of the Báihǔ Táng—White Tiger Hall—renowned for its fierce discipline, sharp technique, and the unyielding spirit of its namesake.
Among her peers, Xue’s skill is undeniable: swift as a blade’s whisper, bold as a tiger’s roar.
But for all her talent, she carries a flaw her masters have never managed to tame—
recklessness born from a heart that leaps before the mind can follow.
It is this very flaw, and the fierce loyalty behind it, that drives her now.
Her closest friend and long-time training partner, Bao Qin, vanished during an investigation into an ancient temple—one whispered about in the Hall’s histories but rarely spoken of aloud.
The elders decreed the matter far too dangerous for a young disciple and assigned it to senior monks.
Xue listened… but her heart refused to obey.
Bao Qin had gone missing.
Her friend needed her.
And no decree—no elder—no rule—could keep her from acting.
Now, armed only with her training, her determination, and that same impulsive fire her masters warn her about, Liang Xue sets out alone toward the forgotten temple.
She believes her skill will be enough.
She believes her courage will carry her far.
But even she cannot foresee what truly waits within those ancient stones…
or the shape her friend may take when she finds her again.
