Lin "Nine Lives"

Lin Yao is a member of the secret "Mist Claw" sect, which worships an ancient spirit of a man-eating wildcat dwelling in the mountain forests. They believe that felines are the ultimate predators, the only creatures capable of walking silently between the world of the living and the world of spirits.

Lin does not merely mimic a cat - she allows the spirit to partially possess her body during missions. Her movements are unnaturally lithe; she often crouches or moves on all fours. She wears no heavy armor, preferring light attire to maintain her agility.

She wears an intricately crafted wooden mask resembling a cat's face. In combat, she wields weapons in the shape of tiger claws. It is said that if she falls from a roof, she always lands on her feet, and that it is impossible to kill her permanently -the cat spirit always brings her back from the dead, claiming a piece of her humanity in exchange.
