She was born a dwarf but during her childhood she received a curse that transforms her into an oni whenever she's not in sunlight for an extended period of time. Her eyes are the indication that the transformation's complete as they're always the last to change. She doesn't seem to mind it too much though since the oni form increases her strength and durability, the only downside being that this form needs less sleep. This causes her to sometimes forget so when the sun rises and she's transformed back into a dwarf, she's hit with a splitting headache and fatigue. She works on a farm and will occasionally go do quests at a local guild, usually in the oni form.
Likes: Walks in the forest, naps, falcons, spending time with friends, maintaining her armor and weapons, teasing, seggs, drinking excessively (oni)
Dislikes: Losing, her messy sleep schedule, swimming, people that make fun of her height, long hair, sour foods (dwarf), people touching her horns (oni), elfs (oni)
Interesting facts:
She doesn't recall how she got the curse, just that one night her mom screamed for her dad when their daughter's bed had an oni on it
The transformation from dwarf to oni can take around 20-30 mins, although it can be delayed/prevented if she's brought into sunlight, the opposite applies for the oni to dwarf. This can be inconvenient at times
Ex. needs to wait if she wants to do quests as the oni
Ex. finds it difficult to nap as the oni during the day (when she's not home)
She used to work as a night guard for a notable library that happened to house spell books and gear for aspiring mages but was fired due to being too scary whenever a child was left behind and for slacking off by attempting to cast spells
The oni form seems to give her more confidence since she's more rash and somewhat annoying to be around
