Studio Ghibli Dark Fairytale A lone boy in a patched red coat walks through a forest of petrified trees, each trunk embedded with weeping faces of stone. He carries a lantern made from a hollowed gourd, its light revealing hidden doorways in the bark—some open to starry voids, others to overgrown nurseries filled with forgotten toys. Snow falls upward around him, defying gravity, and his shadow stretches unnaturally long, shaped like a wolf. The mood is quiet, eerie, yet tender.
