An adult desert astronomer stands on the rooftop of an ancient sandstone observatory at blue hour, wearing layered indigo linen robes, a weathered bronze astrolabe hanging from one hand. Behind the figure, carved arches frame a clear night sky while low desert mountains remain visible on the horizon. Medium-full composition with the astronomer slightly off-center and the geometry of the observatory guiding the eye inward. The last cobalt daylight from the western sky provides a soft cool fill, while several small oil lamps cast warm flickering light across the sandstone and bronze surfaces. Detailed woven linen, oxidized metal, chipped stone carvings, fine windblown dust, believable hands and facial proportions, deep indigo, sandstone, antique bronze, and amber palette. Realistic historical fantasy illustration with restrained painterly texture and physically convincing light.
