, Close portrait of an old man with deep wrinkles and a short grey beard, three-quarter view facing left, eyes lowered toward a small glowing match he cups in both hands just below the frame. Weathered wool coat, frayed scarf, one shoulder cropped by the right edge. Behind him a night market dissolves into large circular neon bokeh ? ruby red lanterns, electric teal stall lights, soft gold bulbs ? creamy defocus disks stacked in layers. The match is the warm key light on his knuckles and lower face; cool teal neon rims the far cheek and beard. Photographed intimacy, shallow focus, tactile skin grain. glowing neon bokeh style
