A close seated portrait emphasizes a woman's face and hands as she holds a round wooden tray upright against her chest, her bent knees softly blurred in the foreground. She looks directly at the camera with a relaxed closed-mouth smile and slightly tilted head. Her short brown twin ponytails and straight bangs sit beneath a white ruffled headband. She wears a black-and-white maid dress with a large white collar and ruffled apron straps, fluffy white wristbands and black tights. The tray bears a line drawing of a cat and the words 'I NEED A PIECE OF CAKE.' Soft side light enters beside a concrete pillar, leaving the curving passage behind her out of focus.
