A solitary woman stands on a tiny island in the center of a vast mirror still lake at luminous sunset, seen from behind. She wears a long flowing deep crimson dress and her long dark hair moves gently in the wind. Beside her stands only the slender dark trunk of a tree with a few bare branches. Thousands of individual autumn leaves rise from the island and spiral upward into the sky. The leaves themselves form the complete crown of one colossal imaginary tree. There is no solid treetop. Every part of the enormous canopy is constructed entirely from separate flying leaves. Dense clusters of crimson, burnt orange and golden leaves define the rounded outer silhouette while looser streams create delicate branches and irregular edges. Larger detailed leaves cross the foreground, then progressively smaller leaves merge into the monumental tree crown above the woman. Visible gaps of glowing sky remain between the leaves. A brilliant amber sun shines through the center of the leaf formed canopy, illuminating individual leaves with golden edges. The woman, narrow trunk and enormous floating crown reflect softly across the glasslike lake. Distant mountains dissolve into warm mist. Crimson, terracotta, burnt orange, warm cream, amber and luminous gold. Cinematic fantasy painting, painterly realism, detailed textured brushwork, monumental scale, atmospheric depth, elegant movement, poetic surrealism, award winning, a breathtaking masterpiece
