a dark, haunting gothic scene. A tall, gaunt figure in a tattered black cloak stands waist deep in a still pool of blood red water at the center of a dead forest. The figure's head is a bleached deer skull with enormous branching antlers that have grown into twisted black branches, covered in small white blossoms and dozens of pale moths resting on the tips. Thin pale hands hang at the sides, dripping red water, and long strands of wet black hair cling to the cloak. The trees around the figure are bare, crooked and nearly black, their roots sinking into the water, and a thin red mist hangs between the trunks. The sky behind is a flat, overcast grey with a single faint crimson glow low on the horizon. Faint ripples spread across the surface around the figure and fallen petals float on the water. The overall palette is black, grey, white and deep crimson, with strong contrast, heavy texture and a quiet, ominous atmosphere.
