retro 1990s anime cel artwork, hand-inked lineart with flat hard-edged cel shading, dramatic high-contrast lighting with deep black shadows, high resolution. A wide shot in harsh midday sun of a woman in her twenties walking alone across a vast desert beside the half-buried skeleton of a colossal mecha, both small against the open sky. She walks toward the frame's left in the lower foreground, a slim figure in a long hooded white cloak with black goggles pushed up into her short rust-red hair and a long rifle slung across her back, her cloak and a strip of black cloth trailing in the wind behind her. Behind her, the mecha's enormous ribcage of rusted black plates arches out of the ochre dunes like the ribs of a whale, its skull-like head lying on its side on the frame's right with one cracked eye socket and thick cables spilling into the sand. The pale sky blue overhead is nearly cloudless, with heat haze shimmering along the horizon and a few black birds circling above the ribs. Hard white sunlight from directly above casts short, sharp black shadows beneath the ribs, under her cloak and along the dune crests. Palette of ochre, black, pale sky blue and rust. Desolate, sun-bleached, epic.
