vtxcosymarkers, A broad-shouldered brown bear sits patiently on a fallen log while an extremely small dragon huddles between its enormous paws. The dragon attempts to breathe fire, producing only a tiny warm spark that the bear shelters with exquisite care. The bear wears a frayed wool scarf; one end has been wrapped several times around the shivering dragon. Frame their faces close enough to see the bear's lowered, attentive gaze and the dragon's stubbornly puffed cheeks. Snow gathers on the surrounding spruce branches, leaving the spark as a fragile orange center in a blue world. A tender oil-and-pastel illustration with dense soft fur, rough wool fibers and restrained winter light.
