I used to do photoshop at an advance level. something like this would have been at or near my skill level. All those years of experience would have been meaningless if AI was invented earlier. Why do we even need artists any more?
I used to do Photoshop too, the ability to prototype with AI is amazing but if you do anything for print for example AI alone is not good enough, you still need someone competent to tidy up the artifacts.
At the same time AI enables non-artistic people like myself to be creative too.
Agreed, you get to 80-90% way faster, but the finishing will probably always be manual (human) work
AI wouldn't exist without artists, but an artist can do cool stuff with AI as a tool. There's so much bad art without AI, there will be even more with AI.
Agreed, I have specific tags banned/hidden for Civit because there's just so much noise and honestly what I would label as hot garbage.
Unfortunately that's what people want: a funny cat, a cute female with a rocket in her head ...
Please don't give up, what you have mastered is the skillset attached to a software; your creativity cannot be replaced. In the end, you are a human being, human is the source of creativity. Keep striving forward in your creative journey.
I gave up originally because my life completely changed. I just posted a set of images for a collection, it's mature content. 2 of the sets in the collection are the latest ones. If I were to imagine my skills as an artist at it's peak potential it would be somewhere at this level. it's abstract realism at such a high level my imagination couldn't fathom making something like this unless I devoted everything I had for this. If you don't want to look at it it's ok, it's not everyone's style/ tastes. I don't know how to link a collection on here, sorry
