She blinks. She tilts her head and lets the grin spread, bringing her hand higher to her lips as red-polished fingers fan and flex, catching and shifting the light with each small change of angle; her eyes track toward the hand, narrow with the smile, then blink. The straight bangs bounce across her brow and a stray strand slides along her cheek while the long black hair swings over both shoulders and then drapes across the leather, the ends brushing and sliding against the jacket. Her wrist rolls inward, the palm turns, and the fingertips skim her chin before easing back to hover near her mouth; tendons move under the skin and the glossy nails keep flashing. Shoulders draw back a touch, the collar and seams of the black jacket crease and relax, and the fabric at the upper arm shifts as she adjusts her posture. A measured breath raises her chest and sends a faint stir that lifts a few loose hairs near her jaw. Tiny dust flecks drift through the pink backdrop, cross the space in front of her face, and continue past while the shine on her hair and nails flickers with each motion.
