What prompts work for halftone coloring

I've been trying to recreate the 'halftone' effect, the kind that shows up when a image is scanned. Are there any prompts which could help with this? I've tried the obvious like halftone and dithering but no luck. The background is affected but the character remains unchanged.

I’m thinking that would definitely have to be done with a Lora, TI or checkpoint designed to do that effect

Some models can do halftones. In fact I remember some models kept adding halftones when I didn't want it. Can't remember which ones though. I would try the ones trained on pics from boorus. Boorus should have quite a few halftone images and should have it tagged so it should work with those.
