Separate NSFW in 2 categories (Erotic / Horror)

Please can you separate Erotic NSFW to Horror NSFW, I get chills just thinking about seeing the tripophia models. I'm too scared to browse the site and discover new models because of this... Thanks if you do

A possible workaround for you. If you're browsing models from the homepage, instead of clicking SHOW to view the NSFW image, you can click on the model to view the model page and the NSFW images will still be blurred out. This will allow you to view more details about the model (eg. description, reviews, versions) that may be helpful in determining the NSFW category.

I agree a hundred per cent.
I believe the expression SFWN should be used for safe for work nudity, non-violent, non-explicit.
And the more explicit content should totally be separated from violent content.

the should have a more robust filter system where you can block certain tags

We need a NSFW and Adult tag.

i agree because I want to be able to find erotic horror easier lmao

I completely agree with you. For now, you can use the "Hide content with these tags" feature to block them.

I like keeping it simple with only a couple options; however, what about realism vs/ extrarealism? Or something along those lines?

Strongly agree. NSFW is too broad a category. Gore, death/violence, and common phobias should definitely be behind a second filter. I think it's fine that the models exist and are being hosted here, but it would GREATLY improve the user experience to default-hide content that the majority of reasonable people (even those here to seek weird niche porn) would find pretty unpleasant to see pop up.

Take any hate or violence. Take out horror and gore

A more refined classification is indeed necessary.

How about NSFW and NSFL? NotSafeForWork - for erotic NotSafeForLife - for horror and gore

I don't think splitting NSFW and SFW into further subdivisions solves the issue because everyone will have a different opinion on what the additional categories should be. I think it would be better to allow users to block certain tags, and leave the trigger labeling to the autotagger and community.

It wouldn't be particularly simple but one solution would be to just use additional filters. So everything is still labelled NSFW so they still have an umbrella term, then add another one like nudity or erotic, then phobia for phobias, then violence and gore

The issue would then be it being too complicated for people to just easily upload content

Maybe they could also separate Erotic NSFW filter to Male and Female, since everyone knows how touchy cis heteros can be.

Or broad tag based filter - 'men', 'women', 'heterosexual', 'homosexual'. This website is already halfway to a porn site anyway.

It's crazy how in the US a nipple is not allowed but even young kids can see people being chopped into bloody pieces. For me, nudity and sex is no problem, but I prefer not to see the violence so having separate NSFW filters would be fantastic. Certainly, that would be much better than having restricted models.

Yeah, it has always puzzled me why this isn't a standard feature on every website. They always either clump them together or only filter erotica, assuming they don't just ban them both completely. Let us have an NSFL tag!

unfortunately civitai is more a porn than a art and showcase site ... and it will get worse over time i´m afraid ... nothing against pornographic material or nudity ... but a better separation is absolutelly necessary ... or civitai will end like tumblr where all of the sudden no nudity at all was allowed ... also the automatic tagging system is just frustrating, to put it mildly ... almost half of my images are tagged with "sexual act", "nudity" or "explicit" and I don´t have a single nude image on my account ... on purpose ... so if I have filters activated I cannot even see my own Images ... and I believe i´m not the only person with this problem ... so I´m forced to deactivate all filters ... or miss on some great pieces of art which are wrongly tagged nsfw ..........

Sometimes it is better to take things into your own hands! If you see anything you don't like, just filter it out so it's hidden from your view. :)
