ComfyUI 0.3.53 release (28 August 2025) fixed the controlnet node such that the new InstantX controlnet can be used with Qwen Image Edit (and Flux Kontext according to release docs).
This is my naive, simple attempt at a modification of the Comfy Qwen Image Edit template workflow with the Qwen Image + InstantX template controlnet component wired in.
It's working on my first few tests, would love to see more examples. So far it doesn't necessarily match the provided pose PERFECTLY pixel for pixel, but I actually like that, and it might be possible to get it closer.
Note: Still need to be descriptive in your prompt in most cases.
Note Note: There will probably be an "official" Comfy template or much better one from the community soon. I'm just playing with this in the meantime.
