Illustrious-XL Canny Reviews

Used with an Illustrious model and I get the outlines painted into every image for somereason. Using ComfyUI on an M4 Mac Mini (base model). Not sure what I'm doing wrong to get this kind of result - put this in the ControlNet folder and set it up exactly how the workflow should be. Changing parameters yielded no better results. My only guess is that I'm trying to make photorealistic images as opposed to anime, but I fail to see how that should make a difference. It's a bummer because this appears to be the only Canny model for Illustrious available that I can find.
