Let's not get into any psychoanalysis regarding why I generated this image, 'kay?

And moving on: Composition is tough with SD. It feels like it's more guessing around and trial and error to put together a composition that's in line with what you want.

Character design is fine in its own bubble, objects too, creating a generic scene - all have their challenges, but they can be overcome. Bringing all of them together and making them work in the specific way that I want them to... Honestly, this isn't even that complicated a scene. Not much effort required on my part for any of the individual components... But getting a bottle of alcohol in a brown paper bag next to a hamburger wrapper? Just doesn't want to happen. Generally I've generated a couple images a day on civitai and usually one is good enough that I feel fine posting it - or it's a piece I kinda like and want to make better so I was willing to put in the work to fix it (like the kitsune artist drawing a knight). But this time I generated a set of 3, then another set, and then a third set before I got this. And this isn't even quite what I want XD

But, it's fine. I could probably get the bottle of alcohol in a brown paper bag if that was my whole image. Since it didn't want to happen, it didn't want to happen. This still works, it just tells a slightly different story.

What that story is? Well, that's for you to figure out for yourself.

What this picture means to me, what it means to you, and what it means to random_user_#### are probably all completely different. If some famous artist made a painting that shocks the world but you look at it and think it just looks like a shitty drawing? Well then it's a shitty drawing. What other people think about a piece of art doesn't change what it is. Only what you think about it changes what it is. Could be interesting to find out what the artist was thinking about when they painted something, but that's an interesting diversion. It doesn't alter what they drew or how that made you feel.

If you look into an artist's story or thought process when painting something and it does change how you see the image, it means whatever you learned changed your perception of a lot more than one painting - you just might not notice the other changes. But, if you're interested in changing how you see the world... There's probably better things to learn about than some famous fellow's painting.

And I'm neither famous nor painting, so figure out what this image means to you on your own and scram :P
