My Danbooru Tag Fetcher V1.0.4 Update Overview:
So, what's been in the works?: With the tag fetcher now on version V1.0.4, several improvements, refinements, and new features have been added. Here's a breakdown:
Blacklisting Refinement:
The blacklisting function has been improved significantly. Previously, symbols such as
(),-,+,",?,!,%, etc., were not being properly recognized or removed during processing.
A double tag remover function was added to ensure all tags listed in the "Manage Blacklisting" section are effectively removed.
Fetch Limit Adjustment:
A proper fetch limit has been implemented, allowing users to set limits between 100, 50,000, and up to 100,000 posts.

Older versions had inconsistent limits, often based on RNG, resulting in unpredictable results ranging from 100 to 400 posts.
Now, users can reliably set fetch limits as needed.
Source Viewer for Posts and Images:
Two new functions were added: a post source viewer and an image source viewer.

The image source viewer allows users to check the image source and visit the corresponding webpage.
The post source viewer displays all links where fetched tags originate.
(W.I.P) - Clean and Organize Tags:
A new function for organizing tags has been introduced.

This feature is part of an ongoing project involving a tag compiler using Ollama and a model to sort tags by name into folders efficiently.

Merge Prompts:
All fetched page prompts can now be merged into a single
.txtfile with one click.

Auto-Save Fetch Tags:
Auto-save functionality has been reintroduced.

Tags fetched using the 'Next' or 'Previous' buttons will automatically save.
Duplicate tags are avoided as existing ones are replaced with new entries.
Proper Fetching:
The tool now fetches posts with a minimum of 10-25-30 tags.
Previously, random posts with as few as 3-6 tags would be fetched, causing inconsistencies:

This refinement ensures higher-quality tag results, Example:

Fetch Tags Amount and Auto Fetch Tags:
Fetch Tags Amount: Users can now set how many tags are fetched per post, similar to a batch processing.

Auto Fetch Tags: This hands-free feature continuously fetches tags until manually stopped, with auto-save functionality included.
Future Planned Functions:
(W.I.P) - Tag Remover Tool add-on:
A simple tag remover tool will be added between the metadata and image viewer sections here's an Example tool:

This feature will allow users to remove specific tags directly via a terminal box.
(W.I.P) - Ollama Integration add-on:
Plans are in place to integrate Ollama with a local URL setup.
A proper RNG prompt compiler is also being considered which will combine sorted tags aka step (4) to create new randomized character prompts.

(W.I.P) - Improved GUI and Installation Process:
The GUI will undergo a complete redesign for a cleaner and more user-friendly layout.
The installation process has been optimized. If any dependencies are missing, the tool will display a warning and attempt to auto-install them.
Existing installations will be skipped to avoid redundancy.
Overall, (V1.0.4) marks a significant improvement over previous versions, addressing bugs, refining functionality, and introducing essential new features.

More updates are on the horizon, with further enhancements to both usability and design.
"Since this is a new tool for testing, I won't be sharing it for some time as I'm currently busy fixing it and working on other plans. I'll share it in the upcoming months once its design is further improved."
