Comparing Geometrical LORA's on FLUX.DEV

Comparative adjectives on

Digital Abstract and Geometrical LORA's

THE MODEL

FLUX.DEV is very strong in generating photo realistic images and is less likely to be used for graphical illustrations or abstract work and most prefer using Illustrious or SDXL instead. Also generating images with Flux requires far more GPU power and therefor more Buzz is spend on the online generators. This makes it so that not everyone is equally fond of this base model. However because of the sense on high detailed realistic imagery it can also mimic graphic illustration work perfectly imo and often comes up with better and sharper results.

LORA's

Just like my previous artice on Comparing Sci-Fi LORA's on FLUX.DEV I will try to provide a comparative study on LORA's found on CIVITAI. This time the ones that focus on outputting Geometrical Digital Art, Surreal and OP Art.

I slightly took a diffrent approach this time using more descriptive prompts and higher guidance and steps. So I can avoid having to deal with trigger words and still be able to give a good comparison on the overall styling of each LORA.

Also I will start with 3 versions of my own LORA's that I finetuned to generate Geometrical shapes in Digital Art.

Image Prompts used:

  1. "Op Art based on spiral shapes, The painting features an abstract, scene with spiral shapes and sharp colors. It has a balance of warm and cool tones, with a dominant use of grays and blacks. The image is reflective, showcasing the artist's skill in playing with light and shadow. The soft lighting and defocused elements create a sense of depth and mystery within the composition."

  2. "A vast labyrinth sprawls out beneath a surreal, shifting sky, designed with an intricate network of twisting pathways and high walls that seem to bend reality itself. The corridors of the maze fold in on each other, creating dizzying perspectives and impossible angles. Shadows and light interplay across the paths, enhancing the illusion of depth and disorientation. OP Art"

  3. "surreal graphic representation an endless scream. geometrical shapes, hexagons are shaping a human head, light fill the shapes becoming more and more transparent and brilliant. patterns dance and constrict and pulse. light pulses through skin. ((OP ART)). sacred geometry."

  4. "Op Art, A digital illustration of an op-art inspired geometrical patterns featuring a warped, 3D grid of metallic hexagons like a honeycomb. The overall composition is symmetrical, with precise alignment that emphasizes the immersive, surreal quality of the visual illusion."

The Last Lora has never been trained to do Geometric, Abstract or OP Art. It was trained to give brush strokes however just to test what the prompts will do to it...

Hope you like this article and find the best LORA that fits your needs!
