Two Years on Civitai + Free LoRA Raffle

Apparently, it's my two-year anniversary on CivitAi in a few days, so I thought I'd celebrate by sharing a few random thoughts and hosting a fun raffle for a LoRA of your choosing. (For the raffle details, feel free to skip to the end)

Random Musings About the Last Two Years

It's honestly hard to believe it's been two years already. When I started making LoRAs, SD 1.5 was the big thing, and since then, it feels like I've barely been able to keep up with the next shiny new model. I never imagined I’d end up making video LoRAs!

It's been a delight to witness the speed at which technology has improved and to see the creativity of this community. Watching what people can create with my LoRAs I make, like kftiger putting my civitai lora through the wringer or simply creating cool art with them (and the ungodly amount of porn).

There’s so much I want to write, more than most people would probably care to read. I’ve thought about sharing my process in detail, but I’ll save that for a proper guide. Instead, I’ll share some cold, hard numbers. But before I do, I just want to say this: this journey has been incredibly humbling. Seeing my follower count grow and having more than 200k(!) generation have been made with my loras on civitai is not something I thought I would ever see. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

My Hall of Fame (of My LoRAs)

Civitai Logo

I wanted to explore what I could achieve with Flux and a LoRA trained on a more abstract concept. What I discovered is that this community is far more original than I am at finding ways to push this LoRA to its limits. It’s been great seeing it hold up so well through all the punishment you put it through, and it remains one of the most fun LoRAs I’ve made.

Dame Aylin - Baldur's Gate 3

One of the first LoRAs I created for SD 1.5, and one I’ve continued supporting with newer models. Aside from being an incredibly cool character with a fantastic design, I think all the versions of this LoRA have turned out great. (People are really sleeping on the Flux version!)

The Hades Pantheon

It’s hard to pick a favorite character from Hades since they’re all delightfully unique. Slowly creating LoRAs for the gods has been a fun project, and I plan to make more in the future. If you haven't played the games I highly recommend them.

Ciri - The Witcher 4

This has been a fun project, not only did I try to get the three version out as fast as I could I also had very limited dataset to work with and overall I am really pleased with how it turned out. There is even a video lora version!

LoRA Raffle

I don’t take commissions since I create LoRAs for fun, but I thought this raffle would be a nice way to celebrate my two years on the site. I debated making this a separate post, but instead of overthinking, here are the rules:

  1. One entry per person. Just comment which LoRA you’d like me to create, or ask me to convert an existing LoRA to another model.

  2. All characters must be over 18 years old. (No 9000-year-old loli vampires) If it’s a real person, they must have at least one million followers on Instagram.

  3. The LoRA can be made for Flux, Pony, or Illustrious.

  4. I’ll do my best to complete it in a timely manner, but I can’t commit to a specific timeframe.

  5. No guarantees on quality. I’ll give it my best shot, but sometimes LoRAs just don’t turn out well. Please be understanding if that happens.

Deadline: I’ll stop taking entries after 20 submissions or one month from this post (27/2/2025), whichever comes first.

I’ll notify the winner via DM.

Edit: Scylla won the day! Keep an eye out for future raffles.
