I don't think I'm alone coming to illustrious from flux, a problem many of us have is that we aren't very good with the tagging.
I began looking up danbooru tags and using them in my prompts and getting far better results.
I've been working on a custom instruction prompt in order to assist users to craft illustrious prompts. I also fed this GPT with a spreadsheet with >900,000 danbooru tags.

Like any custom GPT, it will begin to forget its instructions if you use the same chat long enough. It will also give you the plaintext so you can easily review before copying it so you can make adjustments if you see anything you don't like.
I've also primed it with the knowledge that some people use embeddings, so you can advise it to not bother with the quality tags because you have embeddings, and also primed it with knowledge of lora trigger words, so you can advise it of the lora and the trigger words you want in the prompt.
I'll continue to test this and make improvements.
