Yes, it’s true. They got me.
Following the notice that Tyler/jboogx_creative would be moving on from his role with Civit, the team reached out to see if I might have interest in carrying the torch as the company’s social media guy.
After days minutes of hard easy negotiations, we’ve agreed to try it out and get things rolling, meaning I’ll be taking on the social media management functions for the company.
While we haven’t come up with the full schedule quite yet, I do plan to continue Tyler’s legacy of weekly streams highlighting creators, trying out new models, and more. And even though I was a guest on the stream multiple times, there’s likely to be an awkward intro phase as I get my bearings – you’ve been warned!
What’s going to change here? Not too much! I’m still going to be training/posting models, engaging in community stuff, making weird/funny content, but I’ll also be heading up social media and streaming for the platform.
I’m looking forward to (hopefully) help Civit drive new user growth from social media, increase engagement, and [insert buzzword 3 here]. It’s a great platform with a great community, and I’m excited to do what I can to help it continue that way moving forward.
And while I might have broad shoulders, I won’t be the guy in charge of keeping the site/servers stable. I’ll be crying right there with you when it goes down.
