Welcome
Hi, you might have noticed my huge versatile sets of wildcards for character and construction creation. Maybe you like or even love it and maybe you want to do wildcards, too? And maybe you don't want to do things that were already done.
With this guide I want to give others the opportunity to use my sets as a base and create extensions for it.
I merge all my sets into one single file. I tried to reach a high level of consistency to achieve even greater wildness. ;) You'll find a list of all categories and subcategories below. Little has changed to the howto. However, I move some subcategories into own categories.
Basics
Like with usual textfile wildcards you can use wildcards from yaml-files accross all wildcards.
For basics you might want to refer to my other Guide.
How to create an extension:
My yaml files have a strick scheme:
Rule 1: follow the scheme, it makes it easier to use wildcards across files
Rule 2: follow the scheme, it makes it easier to use wildcards across files
Rule 3: follow the scheme, it makes it easier to use wildcards across files
Option 1: you can add your own subcategories to the matching categories
Option 2: you can use wildcards from other wildcards, like e.g. colors, patterns, material, fabrics, etc.
Option 3: you can create your own main categories
Option 4: maybe a lot more ;)
General Structure:
note replace "style" in the categories with the tag of your subset.
Main categories:
Bo/Chars, or whatever name you choose
this part is for easy to use wildcards for you subset
clothings-style:
clothings of your subset
devided into male, female, unisex
subcategories, as seen below
you can add more subcategories
the *-attire categories are for full body attires composed of your clothing items
person-style
generally all subcategories bound to a person, like female, male, poses, wings, expressions and and and
note the baseset BoChars features versatile male/female characters
__BoChars/person/male__ or __BoChars/person/female__ you get a pretty random person
you can add addional features like wings in your subset
style
rename with your style
put all the stuff inside, that's special for your subset, lighting, professions, beings, words etc.
properties
all the stuff that is not bound to your style
like patterns, colors, fabrics, materials etc.
phenomena
categorized in natural (visual/physical), so everything you can see or feel
abstract, things like death, time, login in to hyperspace, or whatever
constructors
if you want things change materials
shape-tracing

surface-swap

The last 3 categories are more or less experimental, it depends on the model and the thing you want to modify, how well it works. But different decriptions give different results in SD
