Branding Changes for Duskfallcrew
Introduction
Ok this is going to come to an absolute shock as this isn't JUST for myself but it's for Earth & Dusk overall. Earth & Dusk is NOT shutting down, I am NOT stopping making content in AI or otherwise and nor is Earthnicity.
There is a lot of spite and vitriol around AI right now, and being that my training as an artist and designer means that since my hobbies are also a business - things need to diversify a bit more.
I'll explain more in the sections what's been going on in the background and why!

Discord
As you already noticed we're trying to move AWAY from AI in our main discord, which may hurt a little in the short term as we try moving forward into separate functions under our brands. This is largely because we want to open up Earth & Dusk to what it was meant to be: A hub, and a space for us to breathe.
As we've moved into being a part of 0FTH3N1GHT productions recently, we've been carefully working with RevOtnAngel into how to craft our advocacy and streaming and other ventures in order to service more people without too much hassle.
Our main discord is slowly going to move it's AI operations over including old E&D handlings of AI promotion.
Ktiseos Nyx will still be a community hub. that you CAN and are able to share your releases, talk smack about LLM's - ask questions, or even talk about training! We're expanding back out to what we'd originally wanted to be like in the E&D discord back in 2023.
You don't HAVE to be a trainer to hang out, you can be someone who just comes in and shares your images.
Please note this time: Ktiseos Nyx's discord IS 18+. The only time someone's ever gotten banned for sharing ANYTHING was not for the content they shared, was for the excessive tagging and rude behavior they had towards staff. The only other time was when someone was excessively rude, and tried to undermine operations. Beyond that, we're pretty flipping chill, there is an NSFW section for images. We just ask that since discord is US based that you follow Discord ToS. If you don't, well you're liable to see what happens when you come along :).
Other than that: While we have a topic blacklist for our own safety, and we have pluralkit installed because we ourselves and a few others are plural --- We're REALLY open to everyone. Tentacles up the nose, paint splatter & immature drug jokes -- whatever floats your boat. Big muscle mommies? Stuff of course i'm not entirely into, but as long as you're keen you're welcome!
Civitai & Other Websites
Right, i'm sure this is what I should've started with but the discord section was on my mind first. It's only fitting that with the advent of everything and wanting to move certain aspects of our content creation away from each other and in their own curated boxes.. that I myself as well as Earthnicity pull a "DBZ" "FUSION".
We're both moving everything future forward, (not previous/past items, that's a nightmare) in terms of releases to this account currently. We're also renaming if possible this account to Ktiseos Nyx.
Please note if you see anyone running around with "FORMER Co-FOUNDER" that's incorrect, and nothing to do with current standings. They're still parading around github with that. Been asking nicely and legally for a couple months now.
Earthnicity themselves is still going to create, and design loras and checkpoints, but their releases will be handled by Ktiseos Nyx overall. RevOtnAngel isn't sure yet how we're handling his checkpoints, but will still be learning how to make and train loras.
We're not leaving. We're just "EVOLVING" per se.
This means on things like Arc En Ciel, and other websites that have Gen services such as SeaArt, Moescape and otherwise.
Our Website
OOF. Yea we've been promising you a new website since early 2024. We HAVE NOT had the funding to keep up with a website, and now we're under the 0FTH3N1GHT Productions umbrella we've had other things focused. What we CAN do is likely try and focus on where there's a free or something site we can do to open up for Ktiseos Nyx.
We were using WIX in 2023 and parts of 2024. We don't LIKE nor support what they stand for, and they're a nightmare to use. We have had offers to set up more advanced things, but when you are part of an overall organization - no one solution fits.
I'm not a web developer, my background in design didn't include things like actually learning PHP or Javascript. I'm barely even a programmer, I'm more of a program designer who uses LLM's to think of things and "CONCEPTUALIZE" them.
Sure, I can whip up markdown and HTML if I have the brains to remember my CSS and HTML. But the things it takes to do a network of sites, and have it working with social logins and have message and profile boards.. It's not something easy to understand nor build from scratch.
Most sites like Wix or Squarespace are BUSINESS oriented in a way that we're not. That's weird I know, but Wix was less of a Content Management System and more of a "Call center for large business" level website. Squarespace is similar and both are extremely expensive.
We'll come up with something soon, just got to let me and the others get our heads around things.
Github
We've already had started the Ktiseos Nyx hub as a way to focus on more larger projects. The github organization is like Earth & Dusk: it's a hub. We'd like to bring in more independent nerds that want to focus on different ideas, and problem solve. I know that I'd love to work more on many things, and learn more here and there.

Releases
Huggingface however, is not a direct "Hub" the same way in some ways our Github is. There's a few trusted partners and myself, Angel and Earth in there - but there's some balance and weights checking we'd need to sort before opening it up to anyone to contribute.
Likely it won't be like Github EVER only because Ai training takes a little more trust in different areas due to the nature of dataset handling and communication. Github only takes communicating with me, and yelling at me when I've done a dumb in a pull request...
AI requires all hands on deck.
We're looking at trying to branch out more into doing more training projects, and while checkpoint training isn't super expensive... It's time consuming enough, that without the proper care and control - it can go haywire. We don't ask for anyone to have a 4090 locally, if we can just budget enough with whatever and figure out settings with some really cool people - we could try and make some cool things!
Social Media
Social media is LIKELY NOT going to change, this is because I suck at running multiple instagram accounts, and despite being someone that used to run 30 alt AOL accounts at one time... Yea not gonna happen. We all will be in the Ktiseos Nyx (sometimes shortened to K/N) discord and available off and on.
I'm on bluesky, threads and instagram. You'll have to actually become a sugar daddy of the 100-300 USD a month before you could get me back on X/twitter. Shit even then it'd be "Maybe 10k USD a month" range?
As you already know I'm outrageously loud, proud and out there for wrong and right reasons. Twitter gets dangerous despite it being a hub for AI right now. If you yourself are ON twitter/x and want to volunteer to become Ktiseos Nyx's release announcer on there - hit me up in the comments or join the discord. We can have a chat with the others!
Facebook is a pain in the ass, I log in I check my memes I cackle a bit, watch Viva La Dirt League and some of my other good reels ... Then i log off after my mom complains i reposted too much memes. Not only that but despite having a page/presence on there, Meta's business hub doesn't load well on my computer and it likes to crash itself -- not my browser.
Twitch? We may rebrand my old account that i'd found access to a couple years back into the Ktiseos Nyx "office hours" testing grounds. No promises on that one, swapping stream keys in and out of OBS is a nightmare. To test this theory on if we should? Would you rather we try for youtube, or twitch?
Commissions & Requests
We're ALWAYS open for commissions - and we're going to start by noting the reason why we don't always do full NSFW: All three of us that do AI in our personal and business relationship have forms of CPTSD and otherwise. We have our traumas.
"ALWAYS" meaning I am the one that will always bend my own rules.
The problem is: I'm not good with XXX requests. I'm usually OK if something has nudity and a few weird things here and there. HELL, some of my own models have NSFW Leaning or fairly NSFW concepts.
This is where I tend to not be acceptable for LORA or model requests. I apologize, no I can't bend my rules so far that I cause myself pain.
I also do know my limits to timing - I have things outside of AI I need to deal with - my stepfather's still recovering from his stroke, and while he's doing A LOT better - I'm now responsible for a ton more around the house. I'm also in a relationship, so between Angel, Earth and I - we're doing minecraft AND Final Fantasy XIV during the week.
Timing means = if your training data you pass to me for a request isn't something I have time to fix because of the lack of tools I have - I will endeavour to let you know right away. I dont gen locally, and I Don't know how to run some of the advanced tools to rejig and remove things without spending 48+ hours hand removing text and redrawing things. I can't gen locally, just because I CAN play FFXIV (for now) doesn't mean i'm able to generate or train locally.
If you're in the know how to install these tools on a server, and want me to step up my game - FEEL FREE!
Commissions are useful because i'm not able to afford renting servers AS often as I used to. I'm unemployed and on quasi disability (if I went on full disability I would not be allowed to make any money at all.). Since the beta creator's program dissolved, and the new lottery system came in - I haven't even been making enough to pay into trying to see If i could earn again.
Conclusion
Nobody's leaving you! I promise on a stack of purple crafter's scripts from FFXIV or even better: MY FFXIV subscription.. That I am not going to get THAT ANGRY again and leave like that. That was some how sure -- probably VERY VALID for some stuff - but incredibly toddler level for the amount of business I could've still had coming in. I took my models of the generator, and now I have none on there. While at the time I said "NO I DONT WANT THEM ON THERE" - I forgot the value of how I had customers. Sadly, as much as I think i have political or self reasons to do things, I don't think of the stupidity it causes me otherwise. Yay for being blindly ADHD and Autistic.
That being said, now we're all said and done with everything and explaining, it'll be a couple weeks maximum before everything's sorted -we still have to get a logo made.
