Shigure UI Winter/Summer Outfit - Contest
First thank you all for participating,Hope you all had fun 😊. They were a lot of cool, cute and impressive outfits. It was fun seeing what each of you were able to come up with.
The thing with Shigure UI outfit is that everything goes really 😂. Past winter outfits had things like Goliath frog, mohammed ali, cobra/snake china dress and pink spacesuit. So it is really just a question of how creative you could be with it.
So without further delay, let's check out the prizes' winners:
Winter outfit
🥇 1st Place whity00 The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was, “Wow.” This image is really stunning ! The combination of the scenery and the outfit is great, there’s so much detail in the background: the starry night, cityscape, landscape, cherry blossoms, snow, and falling petals creating a vibe that made me of think of Hokkaido, I love it. The holographic colors of her outfit blend well with the surroundings. I'm especially impressed by the sci-fi style coat, it's such a cool piece, and I love it ❤️. The accessories and hat complement the outfit, adding a touch of cuteness. The bare legs and swing add a peaceful feeling to the whole scene, it’s truly beautiful. I also liked your sith Lord entry, It was cool and funny as the same time 😂.
🥈 2nd Place Zlia With his last minutes entry, bold move to post it right before it close😂. I find the submit entry button a bit fickle and often get timeout message when posting stuff so posting last minutes sounds stress inducing XD. Anyway cute entry, I like the style very much reminds me of K-angel from needy streamer overload. I like your other one too but I tend to favor cute one this time around, as it fit the character better. Still, I appreciate that you went and make something original for this bounty ❤️.
🥉 3rd Place moutonrebelle This entry is really cute! The outfit and background totally give off that streamer energy, and it nails the VTuber look perfectly. I love the striped hoodie and black inner, they’re such a cool combo. It’s actually the first time I’ve seen someone use complementary colors as a prompt, and it looks awesome! Definitely stealing that idea for later. The choice of style is really nice, and the lighting makes everything pop. Her little wave, that smile, and the way she’s looking at the viewer is cute and gives the whole piece a nice feel to it.
Summer outfit
🥇 1st Place nemo474 I really like what you came up with! The tourist outfit is such a fun idea, and you pulled it off really well. The Hawaiian shirt looks great and fits perfectly with the rest of the outfit. What really seals the deal are the accessories, the bucket hat and sunglasses are such a charming touch. The flip-flops are a small detail, but they tie perfectly with your tropical beach idea.
🥈 2nd Place ColonelPopcorn This entry is the one that feel the most like a Shigure Ui outfit. It feels like something her chat will make her draw. The combination of summer dress + watermelon is the perfect amount of randomness 😂. I love the tropical summer vacation energy you went for, it's cute and really well done!
🥉 3rd Place Tip: Painttist This one’s pretty interesting ! You might not have done it intentionally, but you actually captured a lot of Shigure Ui’s characteristics with this entry. Starting with the colors. Early on, during one of her first drawing sessions with chat, she became associated with the color rainbow . (For those curious, look up “Andou Rainbow Johnny Johnny (JJ)”.) Since then, fans frequently request her to include rainbows in her drawing. Then there’s the umbrella, her name is associated with “rain” and she frequently depicts herself with an umbrella. Unfortunatly, this entry lacks a bit of polish. The hands, feet, and face are a bit rough.
Honorable mentions:
Going forward, I think keep this format with a top 3 and 5-10 honorable mentions and perhaps some extra buzz when I feel like it. To explain further, I gave honorable mentions to entries I liked but I felt like it fell a bit short of top 3.
