Civitai tabs seem to be demanding way more memory than they used to. Sometimes they stay in the sub 250 MB range like they used to, but I'm often getting tabs that just shoot up to a crazy amount, like a full GB of RAM use, which should not be happening. I filed a bug report 7 days ago, but I can't definitively figure out what part(s) of the site are causing it. I've got some ideas on what it could be, but can't figure out definitively what exactly is at fault.
