This UI update breaks the ability to schedule posts. Which is actually extremely essential if you want to get initial reactions, because only scheduling will give you a short time on top of the public image feed.
I was the one that bugged jomcey via discord for 3 days back to back about the broken image order in profile image feeds. Which is now fixed, seen in updates tab. Without my persistence they wouldn't have noticed to date.
The discord help channel is a joke. I've bugged an mod with an another issue and he told me I have to talk to someone who can deal with it. This person didn't tell me who or how, they just wanted me to stop bothering with pressing issues. At that point I've realized the mods don't really take notes or try to help with general pressing issues and pass them on to the team. You have to do that on your own. Tickets don't do shit, probably deflected by the very same mods. They don't understand if some issue is breaking the whole site or just a persons nuisance.
The team is full with meds I guess. How else would you stand this mess. Everything is breaking and crumbling, but they push on with their paradise projects, breaking more stuff, releasing more stuff no one asked for.
Actual issues are never discussed. Even if they act on them it's trash or worse. I've been complaining about flux gen performance for months. What is the result? Now I can only use IL/XL/PONY checkpoints WITHOUT loras for acceptable performance ... most of the time. Low usage checkpoints tend to fail a lot more. So options are very limited. Meanwhile they added a new video model and want to add flux checkpoints. TF??? Oh and flux seems to be haunted by striping issues, also unresolved for months, so its dead anyway. Bleeding edge model ruined by ignorance.
The rating is completely fucked. I don't care how often they pretend to make it better. If often just breaks. This weekend I've pinged jomcey about age ratings not completing, literally unable to post stuff if you want to get reactions. He had to wake up a dev. Many images with a glimpse of skin just get R rating, which would be fine, but you must supply a prompt to be able to get an manual re-rating or it would be invisible. R+ false negatives are just happening more often and its a huge struggle to solve them. I don't even did it anymore. Why should it be work for me??
The ratings of published images also seem to be off. I tend to browse with <=R. But there is a lot of stuff that is clearly sexual/suggestive. Which isn't right. It was never perfect, but now it's a magnitude worse then before. I swear they will switch to another service or to their own system within the next few months.
I am a tech person myself, so I probably do care more then others or I do complain more then others. Still there seem to be a magical fuckton of people that can't hold this shit anymore. It's not that there are problems, the problem is that if you look too long at it, there is zero chance anyone will tackle those problems. Which is not a joke. In the last months there wasn't a single decision that was improving tech or quality.
There is probably a lot more to complain about. But this goodbye already took too long.
