It is with great pleasure that I announce the opening of a ko-fi but first of all I want to detail the reason behind it.
From the beginning
I've been at Civitai for about a year building a huge community (including great friendships) and it's been one of the best moments of my life, despite not being an excellent artist/artist outside the computer screens (I even make those little stick figures 😆😆😆) I do what I can to capture the style of a certain artist using A.I. and I leave the mission and creativity to flow through this project to you.
I am very grateful to you, because I wouldn't be... or rather... I wouldn't exist here at Civitai without the help of each and every one of you.
What exactly do I do?
I'm currently dividing my time between extra work, Civitai and my personal life, sometimes I miss some of these points and go overboard (I have to have more control over this 😭😭😭) and I feel bad when I can't achieve certain goals, including one of them being to meet as many requests made by you (community) as possible and avoid long waits because of that.
One of the problems I'm currently facing is that my workstation is very simple, consisting of a 2015 notebook (a war veteran) that is slowly degrading, but so far it has managed to handle my activities as much as it can.
Another point to consider is that I currently do everything 100% online, from generating images to creating Loras, I use Civitai in conjunction with TensorArt, so due to the instability of these online services, it can sometimes take a while to deliver the Loras (it's the price we pay for convenience).
My work is on demand and I don't have a fixed income, I even help out at home with what I can (paying bills, buying food, etc.), so I don't have much money left at the end of the month and I usually save money whenever I have it available.
Contextualizing from a Brazilian's perspective
Here in Brazil we have been facing a devaluation of our currency (money 💸💸💸) for years and so I cannot have many "perks" and therefore buying a notebook at this moment is out of the question, unless it breaks completely because it is my source of income.
Electronic equipment in particular is very expensive here in Brazil, so I'm saving money for this purpose.
Curiosity
Just out of curiosity, a bronze membership costs 6x $1 ($1 dollar in the US is equivalent to $6 dollars in Brazil), so technically I pay 6x more for those who live in the United States, for example, which is why I currently cannot renew the monthly subscription to an annual subscription because the value will double to almost 10x.
We're almost at the end...
Without further ado, this is my little story and I hope you feel free to donate (if necessary, I'm not forcing anyone to do so) any amount. Remembering that I will NEVER STOP creating Loras if I don't receive anything ⚠️⚠️⚠️, this is just another way of thanking you if you feel like it, for me just the THUMBS UP / LIKES on the Loras and images are enough.
On Ko-fi I will post more frequently the progress and deadline for creating Loras, including updates from artists and requests made via DM or on Civitai, as I always say, feel free to request any artists, I will review some artist requests due to changes in Civitai's TOS, but I will always leave a post on ko-fi informing about it.
