I'm just writing this to save others a major buzz and time-waste sink: hopefully at least my expensive experience will help you guys :-)
There's a recent bug hitting the on-site generator, any time you push "remix" on an image that used DPM++ 2M Karras, the site reads the metadata as saying DPM++ 2M. Which usually gives much inferior results.
(to be pedantic, the site actually leaves the gen setting's "sampler" field totally blank, and automatically gives you the non Karras option. Whatever.)
@0dang actually wrote an article about this already (an excellent article, with image comparison), and I ----ing read that article, and it still slipped my mind today, dang it. But I'm still posting this warning, because:
#1 my main objective is too get the warning clear in the article title, there's no other quickie way of warning users, especially since many (probably most) don't click thru to articles,
and #2, I just looked again for 0dang's article, and couldn't find it. I only bothered to check the most recent 50 articles; beyond that it's invisible to most users.
