Welcome to tag of the day, my not-daily series where I share tags I found useful but underutilized in generations and explain how/why you should use it.
Illustrious is way better at held objects than Pony or 1.5 was, but two common issues you'll run into are characters holding a sword (etc.) backwards, and randomly getting two. You can actually mitigate these two by using "reverse grip, dual wielding" as a negative. I guess they also work as a positive
Possible pairings: If you want a character to wield a weapon with both hands, you can use the tag "two-handed", though it's less stable than I'd like. If you want an empty hand, you can negative that and give the second hand something to do like "hand on own hip"
