LINK: Booru Tag Gallery
I built this app with the idea of making it easier to search for tags on booru, especially for those who don’t speak English or don’t know how to look things up directly on the Danbooru wiki.
What does this app do?
The original idea was super simple: just a search bar with fuzzy search to help you find the tag you need... but things escalated way faster than I expected.
For example, if you search for "skirt", you’ll get a bunch of related results, letting you find the exact style of skirt you want or even some actions connected to it.

Since this is such a general tag, you’ll see a sort of tag group:

Note: Posts that appear without loading don’t load because of the NSFW filter.
Here you can see more info about skirts: types, patterns, lengths. While browsing, I stumbled upon an interesting tag: "overskirt".

I just clicked on it, and boom—more detailed info opened up.

I had never seen this tag before, and it looked like a great way to give my character a different touch. But then, one of the images also caught my eye because of its outfit.

When I opened the image, I saw all the tags. What I was really after was the leg outfit, and on the right I found: "single thighhigh, o-ring thigh strap, platform boots". With a quick right-click, I copied the tag straight into my generation prompt.

I came in looking for a skirt... and ended up discovering a whole bunch of new outfit tags for my character!
From there, you can just keep exploring. Maybe the concept of "single thighhigh" catches your attention—you click it, and now you’ve got even more info, more images, more tags. You can keep going almost infinitely... or until you land on a tag that doesn’t have info. If that happens, you can just go back to images or wiki pages with the buttons on the top left.
That’s basically the main loop of the web app, but it also has a few extra features:
Main Features
Fuzzy search: this allows some margin of error in your searches, so you don’t have to type the exact tag you’re looking for.
Alias resolver: Keeps you on the right track. If you search for "flush", it’ll say “hey, the correct tag is blush” and automatically fix it for you. Since this can interfere with some searches, I made it toggleable.
Translate input: Automatically translates your search from your language to English using the DeepL API, so translations are actually pretty solid.
NSFW filter: Well… it’s an NSFW filter 👍 you can turn on or off.
And that’s basically it for the options.
Final notes
The app does have a few rough edges (some unformatted text, occasional freezes, sometimes a bit slow), but I made sure to fix the most important stuff so it’s fully usable.
Just like my other app, Booru Prompt Gallery, this one’s hosted with free resources. That means both the hosting and the DeepL API might run out at some point, and if that happens, the app could start failing. Apologies in advance if it does.
This was supposed to be a tiny one-week project... but it stretched into two months. Still, it’s finally here!
I’m truly grateful for any kind of support: a comment, a reaction, a tip... every little thing motivates me to keep building models and tools for the community. 💚
Found a bug?
Don’t hesitate to tell me — I’m happy to fix them all.
Have feature suggestions?
Absolutely! Your ideas are welcome.
Why a web app and not a desktop app?
I noticed many users access from mobile devices, and I wanted it to be accessible to everyone, regardless of platform.
