I came to try out AI, stayed to experiment with loras, and won't stop because the community is just that interesting. A little fact about me is that I love varied perspectives. Getting to hear different people and their perspectives on life is something that I have enjoyed doing for years, even if one's personality or viewpoints are totally contradictory to my own. Whether passionate, eccentric, or cynical, I'm there to see how people express themselves. Civit's just ripe for that.
That being said, here is my personal list of recommended trainers to look into. They are the sorts of people who strive to pour themselves into everything they do. People to enjoy on raw personality in addition to whatever else they do.
I may update this list over time.

Brief: Pixel art trainer, where pixel art is notoriously difficult in lora training. Documents version changes in the description with occasional brief comments on the source artist's work.
Quote: "Slightly better prompt following, contrast and artist's style. What I did? Removed non 1024x1024 images. Turns out it is extremely critical for pixel art to maintain the training size. Which was obvious but normal images do not have such problems, mostly."
Quote 2: "Someone asked me about my descriptions and "web search engineering". I honestly don't care. Buzz is neat and all but I never liked loud marketing stuff. If right people will search like me one day - they will find my models to try out. Maybe I will come with something new when Ill make a big project, with all my datasets combined. Anyways, enjoy!"
_
Brief: Irish furry. Novice 2D and 3D artist outside of AI. Trains on his own styles and OCs frequently. Does commissions for buzz. Links to his other socials are on his profile.
Quote: "The entire dataset was handmade by me. If you're interested in seeing my handmade art, you can check it out on my DeviantArt profile! :D"
_
Brief: Wholesome style and character trainer. Has reoccurring characters used in lora samples including a prince, a princess, and a dragon. Really just a nice and positive person.
Quote: "I'm happy with how it turned out! Thanks so much to those who donate, so I can keep making fun loras for everyone! And thank you to everyone who enjoys the loras I make. You inspire me to keep making more things for the community."
_
Brief: Made a program named "Streamlit" to train loras and created a website to host them with a surprising number of features.
Quote: "For those asking if I can share the files of my streamlit app; I can't just spill all the beans ;) streamlit is easy to understand and I've set up everything in less than 3 months without much prior knowledge, I believe in all of you, you can do it too!"
_
Brief: Non binary/trans masc trainer from New Zealand with Dissociative Identity Disorder, autism, ADHD, and CPTSD. Does commissions over Discord as of 8/25/2025. Is a Twitch streamer and amateur music producer with a Youtube channel. Made a non-profit, Earth And Dusk, with Earthnicity to promote misunderstood conditions. Has a large number of links in profile.
Quote: "Yea ok so we're not hololive, and we're unknown as hell, but yea, you've seen us around - we're duskfallcrew on twitch and duskfallmusic on youtube. This is a lycoris ENTIRELY based on our vroid avatar LOL.
No, it's not perfect, we're waiting on our peers to come back and go "Do we have to hold your hand to make sure you CAPTION IT CORRECTLY?" us going: NO CAUSE IT WAS DONE WHILE WE STREAMED ON A WHIM.
We blame Project AI for the dare.
"WE"? - We have Dissociative identity disorder, ADHD, Autism and CPTSD - "WE" as in we're a system of over 200 alters, and we're not ashamed about it. We believe that AI can break down barriers in some aspects of mental health, but we also believe that AI can hinder aspects of it."
Quote 2: "...That means there's 300+ people controlling a skeletal meatsuit.
That means I have fictional alters that are judging you.
And it also means you have to tell our G'raha that he can't have his cosplay outfit because we're broke.
We're an elder millenial, with huge amounts of religious trauma. We work in open source AI, and feel the need to yell about consent while eating the rich and feeding the poor.
We have 0% filter, even WHEN we're trying to mask."

Brief: Furry webcomic character trainer. Big fan of Bethellium, UberQuest, and Dreamkeepers. Unlike most trainers on this list, they do not speak much in their lora descriptions, but instead shows "personality" by putting in a lot of extra effort in image generations, often making comics. Has a Twitter where they can be seen interacting with the Dreamkeepers official Twitter. Is one of the 4 1/2 AI trainers I have seen be publicly endorsed by the people they train on as of 2025, with the people behind Dreamkeepers helping raise money for them after they got affected by the Russian-Ukrainian War.
Vivid Publishing @Dreamkeepers>"You make her look so good!"
mmh_ai @mmh__ai>"no u"
Vivid Publishing @Dreamkeepers>"what nooooooooooooo I've been outsmarted"
My aside: The loras by _mammoh and jhonny09 are the reasons I'm reading Dreamkeepers right now.
_
Brief: Artist style trainer with Aphantasia that frequently uses their own character as a demo. Frequently talks about the training process in lora descriptions. Is taking commissions as of 8/25/2025.
Quote: "A fun fact about me, I don't have the ability to visualize in my head, there are no images that accompany my thoughts. While I had written out how I wanted this character to look, I had never seen her...
And so there she is, the face of this account and my 33rd-century murderhobo (in the setting that is)."
Quote 2: "The dataset was huge and had to be edited very carefully. Each image was chosen to help form what I think were the strongest parts of the artist's style. I knew it would be good, but seeing it come to life has made it all worth it."
_
Brief: Posts variety content of characters and styles from various media. Has written many articles to help aspiring trainers, navigate the site, or, more recently, critique CivitAI's recent activities.
Quote1: "I have concluded that to preserve AI as anything more than a corporate tool it can use to squash upstart competitors and employee count, these financial tyrants must be met with force! The kind exerted via the only entity lawfully able to use it (government)."
Quote2: "Now you can put the CIvitai logo on trash cans, dumpsters, and things on fire with SDXL!"
_
Brief: Furry and Rivals of Aether fan. SFW and NSFW. Always sure to promote the artists they train on, or otherwise comment on their lora work. Once got an artist to make an account on this site to complement them for a lora trained on his character.
Quote: "Oh, absolutely - people should support Ambris for their (frankly, better) content. I should hope this model doesn't undermine them, especially given most people are just gonna use it for porn lol"
_
Brief: Makes fantasy and D&D inspired lora with RPG themed descriptions for each one. Favors concept loras. Uses their OC Diana the Tiefling Bard to demo loras. Takes lora suggestions in DMs as of 8/25/2025. Antiquated with dreamerdragon91. Surprisingly SFW for someone with that name.
Quote: "A bard's adventure collecting stories of magic and weapons that heroes may one day need. Diana, the Shepherd, began as a humble herder, now on a grand journey to gather tales and relics. From the bustling streets of Waterdeep to the quiet countryside, I seek stories to tell and weapons to prepare. One day, my magic and songs will aid a hero in writing their own legend."
_
Brief: Mostly makes character loras for OCs that live in a shared universe. There's a mix of SFW and NSFW. Most of the lora pages feature dialogue between the characters or the trainer. Got plenty of bounties for them too, which seems like a nice idea for the community.
Quote: "Hello everyone!
My name is Sora, as you can probably tell from Lora's name...
whity: "Muffled noises in the background".
Ah yes... whity isn't available right now, so I'll take over for her :P
whity: "Muffled noises are getting louder"."
Quote 2: "Unfortunately, after being catapulted into our world six years ago, she, like Lucita, fell into the hands of Demi Human Traders and was held captive for a year.
After Sora freed her, she immediately took her into the house.
Lupita has a hard time trusting strangers."

Honorable mentions
EcstaticKalliope, who makes plenty of style loras. In early 2025 they used to add poems to some of their lora descriptions. I thought that was pretty unique. Some were pretty funny too.
PixMauze, who gives a little description of a lora's subject if it's too obscure, and tells viewers to follow artists when applicable. I appreciate giving it that little bit more effort.
