Thinking about starting a community gallery project and I'd love your input!
I’ve always wanted to curate a Collection of great art here on CivitAI… but I’ve also always been lazy.
That’s where you wonderful people come in.
Instead of me digging through thousands of images, here’s a simpler idea: once a week, you pick your own favorite image that you made and drop the link in the comments of a weekly article. One image per person. That way, the community curates itself and we all get to see each other's latest and greatest.
I think it could be a good opportunity for us to foster a community here, to promote ourselves and each other, and to share the things that make us proud.
I’ll collect the submissions into a community gallery — a kind of “art book that updates every week.” Over time, it would grow into a fun archive of the best stuff people here are making. Fantasy, sci-fi, surrealism, portraits, landscapes, whatever — as long as it’s SFW and your personal favorite recent image.
The only catch? This whole scheme only works if people are actually into it. So I wanted to ask: would you participate in something like this?
If enough folks are interested, we can launch the first round soon.
