本次我将对大家在提示词中最常见到的质量词进行说明，希望通过测试让大家对质量词多一些理解。
In this article, I will explain the most common quality tags you encounter in prompts. I hope these tests will give you a better understanding of how they work.
首先我将提示词分为三类。
First, I categorize these quality tags into three types.
一类是danbooru tag中关于质量的tag：highres、absurdres、incredibly absurdres。
根据danbooru标签说明highres指分辨率大于1600×1200、absurdres指分辨率大于3200×2400、incredibly absurdres指分辨率大于10000。
The first type consists of quality-related tags from Danbooru: highres, absurdres, and incredibly absurdres.
According to the Danbooru tag descriptions, highres refers to resolutions greater than 1600x1200, absurdres to resolutions greater than 3200x2400, and incredibly absurdres to resolutions greater than 10,000 pixels on either side.
另一类是数据集中的质量词：masterpiece, best quality, newest, very aesthetic。
其中“masterpiece, best quality”是常见于数据集中进行识别归类的词语。
“newest”是数据集中数据年份的词语。
“very aesthetic”是通过美学模型进行打分的词语。
The second type includes quality tags found in datasets: masterpiece, best quality, newest, and very aesthetic.
masterpiece, best quality are terms commonly used for classification and identification within datasets.
newest refers to the year of the data in the dataset.
very aesthetic is a term assigned based on scores from an aesthetic model.
还有一类是参数含义上的质量词：4k、8k、HDR等等。
The third type involves quality tags that are based on parameter definitions, such as 4k, 8k, HDR, etc.
本次测试选用的基础提示词是mature female, solo, elf, brown skin, white hair, red hair, two-tone hair, short hair, blue eyes, rimless eyewear, scar, abs, narrow waist, orange striped shirt, gold elbow glove, violet side slit puffy pants, armpits, bedroom, pillow, bed sheet, window, night scene

选择这组提示词的原因：
这组提示词包含一个角色年龄tag用来判断质量词是否会影响角色年龄，一个特定角色elf、一个特定肤色、多组不同颜色的词用来指定发色、瞳色、服装颜色，以此判断质量词是否对提示词理解可以整体起到作用，通过腹肌tag这种非主流审美判断质量词是否会影响人物体型，通过疤痕tag判断质量词是否会再美学上影响疤痕之类的tag的权重，通过室内场景窗外夜景判断质量词是否会美化构图和添加额外的物品来提升美学要素。
This prompt was chosen because it contains a variety of elements to test the influence of quality tags:A mature female tag to observe if quality tags affect character age.A specific race, elf, and a specific skin tone.Multiple color tags for hair, eyes, and clothing (white hair, red hair, blue eyes, orange striped shirt, violet... pants) to see if quality tags affect the overall interpretation of the prompt.A non-mainstream aesthetic tag like abs to see if quality tags alter the character's physique.A scar tag to determine if quality tags aesthetically influence or reduce the weight of such features.An indoor scene with a night view outside the window (bedroom, window, night scene) to check if quality tags enhance the composition or add extra elements to improve aesthetics.
测试模型选取我的MatureRitual-v1.3和其他三个主流模型（waiIllustrious-v15、novaAnimeXL-V11、oneObsessionBranch-v6MatureEPS），避免因为模型产生偏差。
To avoid bias from a single model, the tests were run on my own MatureRitual-v1.3 and three other mainstream models: waiIllustrious-v15, novaAnimeXL-V11, and oneObsessionBranch-v6MatureEPS.
测试开始前先进行三次随机种测试，确定一个作为对比参照的基础图像，本次选取的种子数为256537200233322。这个种子的图像最为接近方便比较。
Before starting, I ran three random seed tests to establish a baseline image for comparison. The seed number 256537200233322 was chosen as its output was the most suitable for a clear comparison.
本次使用的生成设置为

测试会先每个词进行单独测试，之后进行组合测试，看看质量词之间是否会互相影响。
The test will first evaluate each quality tag individually and then in combination to see if they influence one another.

masterpiece：MatureRitual-v1.3试图添加金色镶边来提升美学，但是上衣和发型样式发生改变，并且试图清除疤痕。nova-v11减少了窗外夜景，并且改变发型样式。wai-v15改变了饰品颜色，改变了发型样式，并且在上衣添加多余的细节。Obsession-v6裤子颜色发生了略微改变，脸上的疤痕试图消失。
masterpiece:

除了质量词之外，我还测试了偶尔在大家上传的图片中公开的提示词里常见的关于“,”的问题，有时候在提示词中会发现“, ,”这种情况出现，这是否会改变图像呢，“只是多一个空格逗号而已”。
Beyond quality tags, I also tested a common issue I've seen in prompts shared publicly: the use of double commas with a space, like , ,. Does this actually change the image, or is it "just an extra space and a comma"?

其实这里大家可以发现，只是多一个空格图像就会改变，所以上述质量词产生的改变可能也只是因为数量变了才产生的改变并不是质量词生效了。
As you can see, simply adding an extra space can alter the image. This suggests that the changes caused by the quality tags above might not be due to the tags themselves taking effect, but simply because the prompt's token count and structure changed.
对比图就到这里了，图中可能还有我未发现的地方。
The comparison images end here, though there may be other subtle changes I haven't noticed.
总体来说“masterpiece,best quality,newest,very aesthetic”会使图像发生改变，但是否是好的改变并不一定，而且并不是大家想象中的大幅度提升图片质量。
“highres,absurdres,incredibly absurdres”会在一些地方发生改变，但范围没有“masterpiece,best quality,newest,very aesthetic”高。
“4k、8k、HDR”不会特别改变图像，可以说是无用词。
Overall, the masterpiece, best quality, newest, very aesthetic group does cause changes, but not necessarily for the better. It does not dramatically improve image quality as many people might think.
The highres, absurdres, incredibly absurdres group introduces some changes, but to a lesser extent than the first group.
The 4k, 8k, HDR group barely changes the image and could be considered useless tags.
留心的人可能还会发现，在发型和上衣样式发生改变时，都被改成“差不多”的样式了，这就是趋同性，即使是为了这一点，我个人就不建议使用质量词，而且现在的模型即使不添加质量词也不会很差，就像上文中说到的，虽然质量词改变了一些点，但整体并没有发生质变。
More observant viewers might notice that when the hairstyle and shirt style changed, they often converged towards a "similar" style. This is an example of homogenization. For this reason alone, I personally advise against using quality tags. Besides, modern models are already capable of producing high-quality images without them. As shown above, while quality tags did alter some elements, they didn't result in a fundamental, qualitative leap.
而且大家也能发现质量词是会影响角色年龄的，这与主流的幼化审美导致数据集缺失有关，在这里我就不再多说无用的了，这并不是我能改变的。
Furthermore, you can see that quality tags can affect the character's perceived age. This is related to the loli aesthetic bias and corresponding lack of data in datasets, but that's a topic beyond what I can change, so I won't elaborate further.
