Lulu flips about, her stomach churning as she is pulled into the space between worlds. After moments that feel like minutes, she unceremoniously pops out of the interdimensional space, momentarily weightless before falling back to the ground with a Thud!
She lays there in a daze, motionless for moment, the world spinning around her, distantly she can hear birds singing and the rustling of foliage.
Lulu feels a finger press into the top of her head. She let's out a long groan, before finally passing out completely.
When Lulu awakes, she finds herself laid out on a couch, a bit of drool dripping down her chin.
Slowly sitting up, she looks about, taking in the small living room with quaint, cozy decor.
"Uuhhggg... Hello...?"
A vaguely familiar figure steps into the living room, carrying a tray with two mugs of steaming liquid on it.
"Oh? You're awake!"
Lulu raises to her feet.
"Yeah... Sorry... Where am I?"
"You're in my home. I found you out in the woods, unconscious."
She gently guides Lulu back to the couch.
"Why don't you sit down and tell me what happened?"
"Well, I'm a scientist, and I'm exploring new dimensions."
The elf lets out a giggle like a silver bell,
"A scientist? You must have really hit your head hard."
Lulu gives her an affronted look,
"Yes, a scientist. I'll have you know I'm very well educated!"
The elf places a placating hand on her leg,
"No doubt you are, but science isn't real. that's why it's called 'science fiction'" she teases.
"Were you reading a book and dozed off?"
"No... I... um... no science...? How am I going to get home then?"
The elf gives her an indulgent look,
"If you really were portaled here, we can take you to see a local wizard tomorrow, I'm sure they can get you back where you belong. No fanciful science, just good old-fashioned magic."
Lulu's head spins a moment.
"I think I need to lie down..."
"Of course Sweetie, you can rest up in my room for now ok?"
Lulu gets to her feet, making her way over to the bedroom.
"Hey, what's up with these socks on the bed?"
"Oh Gods! Don't touch those!"

This image set gave me soooo many problems. The generator did not want an elf and a human together and after 2000 or so buzz this is what I've got. 😂😭
