The "wild west" needs its own free-tier currency. Unless, of course, the actual goal is to drive away free-tier users from the wild west. Surely that's not the plan?
The only solution, as far as I can see, is to introduce yet another buzz type, i.e. red buzz, that allows NSFW generation but cannot be converted to real money. It would be a free-tier currency that could be earned on-site just like blue buzz now. For example, maybe liking an NSFW image could award red buzz instead of blue buzz.
The current system is going to be pretty silly for free-tier NSFW creators anyway: getting rewarded useless blue buzz that doesn't help making more of the stuff that people liked. It's like a slap to the face; "a few dozen people really liked that image, now make some SFW stuff next".
Red buzz would prevent the community from falling apart. And it needs to happen now, not after the community has completely fallen apart. Once everyone leaves, it'll be too late to fix it.
