My entire purpose for using this site has seemingly come to an end. CivitAI is free to do as it wishes with it's site of course, but without the means to utilize blue buzz for my intended use for this site I have begun to seek alternatives.
To that end I invite any who comes across this article to share their thoughts in a constructive way. Brainstorm ideas, offer solutions, suggest alternatives, etc etc.
For myself I'm seeking other websites that offered the same services CivitAI did for free at the same standard, lets say... 4 months ago from now? Or looking into offline generation, though I have no frame of reference for programs and tools that are required for such at this time.
Please hold your complaints if the above conditions can't be met in the comments. Not that I wish to silence you, more so that doing so here will not help anyone figure out what to do from now onwards.
As for CivitAI, it was good while it lasted. I may check in from time to time to see if things have improved, as in bad decisions (in my personal opinion) have been reversed. However I find that the more regulators regulate, the more bloated and ineffective the regulated anything becomes.
And if CivitAI themselves ever come across this article, the best suggestion I came across (but forget where) would have been to make an entirely separate website that could be used for NSFW purposes. That way you would have maintained the best of both worlds.
