Intro
I've been a member of this wonderful community for nearly ten months now, and I've been a paying member all the time (one month plans, three month plans). So first I didn't realize exactly what the fuzz of yellow and blue buzz was all about. Though I understood clearly what the point of the leading CivitAI Staff was regarding the decisions in question. I come back to this point... but first:
What I read first and didn't quite get
I read a lot of YOUR articles, your musings, read about your anger, your disappointment over the decisions the staff had made (the last days I read more comments and articles than I looked at your pictures) - and finally I saw the point of all this: Most of YOU ALL used this platform to generate content - especially NSFW content - for free, using the system of yellow and blue buzz and the possibility of tipping to get and stay running and generating content.
First I didn't see this because of my situation as a paying member - it was completely normal for me to pay a sum of money for the service the CivitAI platform offers me: the possibility to learn Stable Diffusion and create SFW and NSFW content, personally for me and for publishing on the platform.
But as I came to see it now, I am totally on YOUR side:

There should be platforms where everyone can create content free from constraints and free of charge - SFW and NSFW - and share this content with others for free. Of course by respecting laws and conventions regarding the safety of minors, no question here.
Despite me being able to afford paying regularly for yellow buzz to have fun on CivitAI, I see the point that many of YOU cannot afford it or dont' wish to do so. Money should, no, must never be the basis of decision who could be creative and publish content - and who can not. Not in countries which call themselves free.
A weird political situation
I see the situation the CivitAI staff is in, finding payment partners and so on, you know... and I see the bigotry of the political (and economical!) circumstances being responsible for this situation, especially in the US (and Europe following as usual). Have a look at possibly the largest platform for erotic and slightly pr0n content, originating in the US, today seated in Cyprus, MetArt. There we can find them all gathered around our banking accounts: US Credit Card providers and - for sure - PP.
WTF? Dont't they all claim to have "problems" (hehe!) with the publication of NSFW content?? Sorry, but MetArt (and hundreds of platforms the like) don't even have SFW content. And those payment providers really have "problems" with a platform like CivitAI? Where some... many users freely create and publish NSFW content, and some of them want to pay for it?
Come on, that's ridiculous. We are living in a seemingly completely weird world now.
But as I said, I see the problems the staff has with coming around to keep the platform running in a way we all like it.
What I will do
OK, I stop musing and ranting here to tell you about my plan to deal with the actual situation:
This weekend I just bought and built a new PC. In contrast to my old one this one is decidedly capable of generating txt2image / img2img with Stable Diffusion(s). In the next days/weeks I will download and install my favorite models and LoRAs and start generating images locally. From time to time I will use the online generator here, for sure.
And I will upload images from my place to the community. I have 833 Followers to date and I'm a bit proud of it. I'm thankful to all of YOU who view my creations and maybe have fun doing this. I have fun viewing YOUR content, be it NSFW or SFW!

I will stay here, because I like the place and the people here creating wonderful pictures (and videos)
And I will buy (yellow) buzz or continue to have membership plans in order to keep quite an amount of buzz ready... the bigger part for tipping.
