I already reached that mark some time ago, but I kinda missed to make an announcement. So anyway, thank you to all of you. It is really fun to publish models and see other people use them. To celebrate this occasion I want to launch a little contest, where the winner gets a (reasonable) free LoRa of their choice.
The Contest
If you are following me, you can enter the contest by generating an image with at least one of my models and post it on the respective model page. After that you have to come back to this article and leave a comment with a link to the image you have posted and up to three ideas for a LoRa you want me to make. I will consider entries till 7th of December 2025 11:00 pm UTC.
The Details
I do not want to make any restrictions on the content of the images, but I recommend to stay in the PG-R range (although I know some images are misrated by the automatic rating system). Also it should be visible in the image, that one of my models has been used. So if you use one of my character models, the character should more or less be identifiable. If you use one of my style loras, the style should be visible, so don't use five other style loras along with it. Same goes for poses or concepts.
I haven't decided how to choose the winner yet. If there are just a few entries (I hope there will be more than three), I guess I just go with the image I like the most. If there are a lot of entries, maybe I make a selection and let you decide which is the best.
You can post more than one image if you want and also use different LoRas of mine, I will consider them, but please do not use the same prompt multiple times with different seeds and post all of the images as entries, just pick the one that seems best to you then. Also every single user can only suggest three different LoRas. So do not post ten different images on my model pages and make ten comments with different LoRa suggestions. If you are posting more than one image put all of the links in one comment under this article. If you make a post with mutiple images to one of my model pages, just link the post.
Your Ideas for a LoRa
Your ideas for a LoRa should respect the following two points:
It can not violate the civitai TOS, so that it can be published here. That means no LoRas for generating real persons and similar things.
It should be doable for me in a reasonable amount of time.
The latter means, that I don't want to spend more than a couple of hours on data collection and preparation. Therefore I won't make a multi-character LoRa (like my Last Airbender or Sakuna LoRas), unless I already have the dataset for the characters, or a character LoRa with a lot of outfits or other similar time consuming things. You can still suggest something like that, but don't expect me to make it, so please give me a reasonable alternative. Maybe some of your ideas end up on my to do list anyway.
Also consider that there have to be some images available, that I can use for training the LoRa. If your idea is for a character from some obscure video game, where no screenshots or artist parodies are available, I likely will not have anything to train on.
For checkpoints that I can train on, consider the following. All the LoRas I have published are trained on illustriousXL-v0.1, so using this would be easiest for me. However I also consider retraining a LoRa on ponyXL or NoobAI-XL eps-prediction or training a new LoRa on them. That may take some longer time to get it right though.
So for every idea you want to suggest, please mention which base model you want it trained on, which category it is (character, style, concept, etc.) and details of the content (e.g. for a character LoRa from which series, game or other affiliation it is and which outfit you want if there are more than one).
