1. Identity & Origin
Who they are, where they come from, what shaped them.
Homeland / origin : Far in the deep cosmos, Hollow was born from the collapse and death of an ancient star, its consciousness awakening as the last echo of stellar light.
Faction / religion : Initially classified and contained by the SCP Foundation, Hollow later became a specimen under the care of Project Evolution.
Constellation / zodiac : Aquarius. Associated with distance, abstraction, cosmic thinking, and beings that exist apart from humanity while still observing it.
Personal symbol : The unending flow of stellar energy radiating from the void in Hollow’s chest, usually glowing in soft purples and whites, like distant nebulae.
Scar / Mark meaning : Hollow’s body is perpetually fractured, laced with cracks that can break apart into floating fragments at the slightest impact. These shards hover nearby, slowly reassembling and mending the damage over time.
Most treasured possession : Hollow owns nothing in a physical sense, though it appears to treasure gentle interaction with humans, responding most clearly to kindness.
Promise they still keep : Promises are an abstract concept to a being born of starlight, yet Hollow understands loyalty. It once gave its light freely to save those who showed it care, without hesitation or expectation.
Biggest regret : The loss of their star, a grief difficult for humans to comprehend. How can one mourn the loss of its own physical self ?

Elemental affinity : Cosmic energy.
Signature spell category : Temporal manipulation, the ability to reverse or accelerate time, affecting objects, individuals, or entire areas.
3. Personality & Habits
Their everyday self, quirks, and emotional details.
Unusual habit : After being placed under Jay and Cathie’s care, Hollow began reacting to their presence, eventually mimicking human behavior by offering a slow, tentative wave every morning.
Weakness : The cosmic energy within Hollow continuously escapes through the void in its chest. Nothing can stop the slow loss. If left for eons, the light will eventually fade, leaving behind an empty shell.
Languages spoken : Initially believed to be mute, Hollow has been heard repeating English words and occasionally responding, demonstrating growing comprehension.
Comfort object / ritual : To the scientists’ surprise, Hollow grew fond of Cathie’s gentle hug before nightly shutdowns, reaching out for her when she forgot.
Sleep habit : Hollow does not sleep, usually remaining seated in a corner of its containment cell, hunched forward, waiting patiently.
What they do when nervous / angered : Hollow experiences little emotion and has never shown anger. However, it displays signs of distress when routines change, rapidly scanning its surroundings if Jay and Cathie are late.
Favorite season : Hollow does not understand Earth’s seasons, though one might imagine it would favor summer, drawn to the warmth of the sun.
Favorite small critter : Hollow shows no interest in animals, often seeming to look through them rather than at them.
How they take their coffee / drink : Hollow does not consume food or drink.
Secret fear : Hollow doesn't understands the concept of fear, yet when it followed familiar energy signatures to a collapsed parking garage and found Jay and Cathie, all humanity gone but still huddled together, Hollow did feared. That it wouldn't be able to help.

Color palette :
Flower symbolism : White Anemone. The white anemone symbolizes loss, fragility, and the quiet grief that follows absence. Often associated with death and the fleeting nature of existence, it mirrors Hollow’s origin as a remnant of something vast and gone, delicate yet luminous in its endurance.
Tarot card : The Hanged man. The Hanged Man represents suspension, sacrifice, and existing outside normal time and perspective. For Hollow, it reflects a being caught between life and death, endlessly giving of itself while slowly fading, bound to a fate it does not resist.

Relationship with other characters that exists in their world.
Jay and Cathie : When Hollow was first placed under the care of Project Evolution, it remained as distant and unresponsive as it had been within the SCP Foundation, showing little awareness of its surroundings or its handlers. Over the course of days and then weeks, however, something began to change. Jay and Cathie’s more humane approach, their patience, consistency, and refusal to treat Hollow as merely an object of study, slowly drew reactions from the stellar being. Cathie’s soft voice and gentle touch encouraged Hollow to reach back in tentative, mirrored gestures, while Jay’s calm reassurances and carefully maintained routines helped it grow comfortable with the rhythm of tests and observations. In their presence, Hollow began to respond, not as a specimen, but as something quietly aware.
Athena : During the time Athena allowed herself to be contained within Project Evolution, Hollow sensed her presence long before any physical encounter. Athena projected her mind outward like unseen tendrils, probing the facility and exploring every consciousness she encountered. When her attention brushed against Hollow, she found no familiar thoughts, no emotions to grasp, only a vast, alien stillness. Hollow did not respond, incapable of conventional thought or reaction. After a brief moment, Athena withdrew, recognizing Hollow’s nature and choosing to leave the stellar being undisturbed, an unspoken understanding passing between two entities born of the cosmos.
Igeyorhm : While drifting through the depths of space, Hollow once crossed paths with Igeyorhm, the ancient eldritch leviathan. The encounter was brief and silent, yet profound. Rather than harm Hollow, Igeyorhm intervened in its slow, aimless drift, guiding it toward a powerful solar wind current that altered its trajectory and set it on a path toward Earth. Whether this act was deliberate or merely incidental remains unknown. What is certain, however, is that this single, wordless intervention irrevocably changed Hollow’s fate.
Hollow does not shine to be seen, nor linger to be remembered, yet in the quiet glow of its fading light, it learned what it meant to care.
