Mommy I love this image but I can't see the prompts, what do I do? *Sob*

Tips for finding Embedded Prompts:

If anyone (such as a newbie) is curious about what resources an artist used to generate an image, but no information is available, here are some simple tips to follow to see if you can find relevant information that can help you on your quest to slay that unidentified dragon.

If the model details are not listed on the page, it may be because the author used another service and not civitai, to generate the image. Artists can manually add what services they used when they upload an image but sometimes artists are lazy or don't have the time or forget to add.

Your next option is to check the embedding of the image (right-click an image to view properties of the image, then select the Details tab to click in the Comments field to view the embedded prompts/parameters in the image but when artists use other services instead of civitai, many times the image will not contain the embedded comments).

You next option is to open the image with notepad and sometimes the embbeded parameters/prompts for the image will be found there (give the notepad some time to load the image data into notepad if you have a slow computer) but most online image generating services don't embed the parameters in the image, I think it is ComfyUI etc that does this (or has a setting you can enable to allow the embedding) and remember ComfyUI is a free tool you can install on compatable computers to generate your images for free on your computer.

Your very last option is to actually look at the image filename itself and sometimes artists have the name of the service they used to generate the image, found in the naming of the image file.

eg. Leonardo_Anime_XL_grimdark_Warhammer_battlefield_trampled_shor_2.jpeg

And if your lucky, you can see some of the prompts after the service or model name used.

Referring to the example image the model/service used was: Leonardo_Anime_XL (Leonardo is another online service, I believe)
Referring to the example image the prompts used where: grim dark Warhammer battlefield trampled short grass etc

Use your imagination to fill in the gaps in the lack of prompts provided and describe what else you see in the image as the prompts provided in the filename where very limited

eg. swamps, shallow water reflections, war damaged medieval buildings, debris, image framed by stoned buildings etc

And experienced users can use an online service (hint civitai could offer this service and even allow users to use blue buzz lol to pay for the service, cost 20 blue buzz per image or 10 yellow buzz per image) or just use local setup using ComfyUI to allow an AI script or GPT model to identify and list the prompts in an image for you.
