Hello, once again, hopefully 2025 was a somewhat good year to y'all. Even with all the negativity surrounding social media, I still hope that this year was an improvement on goals and achievements that all of y'all strived for.
For me, 2025 was a weird but sort of worthwhile year with a lot of changes and emotional relief that I managed to get off my chest. For example, me working towards a new PC and other cool stuff to buy to make my time management much more efficient and especially when talking about productivity, venturing beyond AI. This new PC build has been long time coming since I decided to retire my old setup and fully leave the 2006 (year I got my first pc) and 2016 (year I decided to upgrade a few parts but keep certain components) behind and go into the new age of PCs with a R5 7500, RX 9060 XT 16GB, and 32GB DDR5 RAM (kinda flexed with that last one lol.)
Now, I will not sugarcoat it. I did see that due to Civitai's recent changes concerning NSFW restrictions and Buzz economy, it has become much harder for newcomers to truly get into generating images for a low price when getting buzz, and making sure you can generate what you want is very limited. I hope that as this next year goes by, Civitai can get back on its feet or find some sort of solution for newcomers to easily generate images without stressing over such issues to the point where everyone leaves the site, and everybody switches to local generation. Which sucks, cause being able to generate without issues was the main reason I started using Civitai, and to conserve energy for my old machine.
Now, when it comes to me, I will continue making style LoRAs for Pony and Illustrious (as much as Pony V7 seemed like a failed attempt atm). The only thing that was holding me back was truly the amount of other things I wanted to do besides LoRAs and AI generation in general. When I get people to request and commission style LoRAs in DMs, that makes me the most motivated to keep on going and make sure that the person gets what they want to create. And as long as other activities don't take up my time, I will keep on creating content for y'all as long as I'm getting requests.
