In another chapter of Civitai doing weird things... As you read it, my account got restricted for trying to make NSFW that may violate the terms of the platform, Even though I know this terms has to be followed to avoid this penalties, I must say that for me this was an 'overproportionate measure' since my prompt wasn't as explicit as some of the NSFW content that are published constantly in the platform.
It also was an discretional suspension since I got warned in the generator just 2 times for the prompt I was making, and after a few modifications the warnings stopped, I assumed I could continue with the generation and then my account got restricted automatically by the platform without the possibility to generate more content in the meantime.
Civitai recommends to wait for at least two days in order to lift the restrictions and to receive a message from a moderator about the status of the account. The option to genarate content got restored after that period but I didn't receive any notification from a moderator, so I decided to test again with the prompt (yeah probably my error) and my account got restricted once again without any single warning.
Yesterday my account was fully restored and I finally receive a notification about the restrictions being lifted, but the platform and the moderators didn't elaborate any further.
I think all is back to normal but because I'm concerned of this bad experience I'm going to recommend you to download the content that you liked from my profile locally because currently I don't have local backups for all the images in the case my account gets suspended permanently, honestly I don't think that would happen in the short time, but please take it into consideration. In that sense I will take some time to make a backup of the content I've already published in the platform and the content that is currently in my generator, I never paid much attention to that until now.
Ill probably be in a pause of publishing NSFW to avoid posible new restrictions, after I have the copy of my content Ill keep publishing NSFW from time to time, and it is posible that I post the content that may cause problems with the Civitai terms in another platforms, in those cases Ill be making an announcement for that.
Backup my content could take me some time, so in the meantime Ill be publishing the rest of the SFW content that I got left in the generator.
