After much behind the scenes effort, and a little panicking, I have finally gotten up the courage to release my AI-assisted music on YouTube for everyone to hear! I write my own lyrics fully or in large part (sometimes use the AI lyrics for a meter template and then rewrite my own lines to fit), and spend hours or days on a single track. This is not just an instrumental AI riff channel, each piece is a labor of love and personal experience for me, and if any of you out there find something that resonates with you I would be touched and honored.
Being a pop/rock star was always a dream I knew would never come true, but thanks to AI giving me a voice and helping me compose musical tracks I can finally sing the songs I have always wanted to, and the transformative joy that brought me is something I do not truly have words to express. It is wanting to share that joy, and hopefully make something someone else could hear that motivated me to take the step of releasing publicly.

This ties into my art here- I am using AI art to make my own album cover images, YouTube channel banners, etc, and plan to release a new article here each week at the same time I upload my next track, a little bit about what went into the track, and art to go along with it that won't be on YouTube. My planned release schedule is one new track per week, not the fastest but the work I put in takes effort and I want to allow myself time to only produce music I am proud of.
The first release, Neon Tides, is the first track of my premier album of the same name. This was my first AI-assisted musical piece ever, and was written to capture both my joy and unease with how far AI technology has progressed. The line between real and digital further erodes, bringing both creative opportunities and potential misuses, and fragile hearts wander the fine line between dreams and data...
