A client wanted a super energetic couple that screams African pride: bold prints, big energy, total confidence. I loved the idea right away.
I fired up Flux on Civitai (it's my favorite for sharp details and fun poses these days). Started simple: young Black man and woman flexing on green screen, big smiles, natural looks, covered in those classic geometric gold, black, and yellow patterns.
My steps:
Grabbed my inspiration from Ankara/Kente vibes for the prints.
Did a bunch of generations, then used img2img, Sora on the winners to nail the consistency: jacket details, pants, braids, glasses on the guy, those fist pumps.
Adjusted lighting to make them really pop against the green, threw in a LoRA or two for better skin and fabric feel.
Finished with an upscale and quick inpaint fixes on hands/braids (they always need a little love).
The client was thrilled – said it captured the cultural vibe and joy perfectly. Great for branding, animations, or just straight inspiration.
