Hi everyone! Today is Friday, so it is time for me to release the next track on my first musical album, Neon Tides. This song is called "Fizz and Flavor"! It has a very "song of the summer" pop energy I had so much fun with.
This fun and silly song is about soda flavors... and maybe more. It depends on how you listen to it. Love is a rainbow, far more colorful than a binary system, and maybe some people only crave the companionship of one kind of flavor, or two, or three, while some enjoy the rush of passion and discovery more than being tied down to any single experience. Every flavor offers it's own delights and secrets to discover, each is a sugar-rush for the soul, and I celebrate them all. Except diet-denial... I'll pass on that ;b
I had been intending to take this opportunity to share a little lore from the world/characters I make in my images here, but wound up behind on that because of other projects. While I don't think there are like, too many "rules", I also wasn't sure about doing "story" in "announcement" articles, so now I am thinking those will be separate articles releases hopefully with the first next week. It won't be much, to start, I want to begin by sharing some of what the world is and looks like, not the characters, but I hope maybe it is fun for those who enjoy stories on here like I do. As someone who comments on almost every story here I read to show my appreciation for the writers it's about time I put out something myself instead of just cluttering other people's articles!
That said, while being encouraged by the new and excellent lore article writer @PixelNope when we were discussing their latest story, I did mention having done a short story with an image post I did for the Halloween contest here when I really wanted my entry to stand out and celebrate my favorite holiday. If I had known as much about how the site worked then as now I might have done it as an article and not in an image post where it lies buried and unseen, and @PixelNope was very vocal that I should work it into an article so people can find it. It's short and not great, there's even a wrong word used/typo in it I'm afraid to fix/update (because it is approved in the contest gallery and I don't want changes to remove it), and it definitely doesn't fit with the vibe of the song I'm trying to promote here, LOL... but because I said I would and wanted to give something while working on my lore articles anyone curious can find my little mini-story post here...
I really want to thank everyone who stopped by and listened to my music so far, and send the biggest hugs and love to anyone who went to YouTube and clicked the "like" button and subscribed for me! Those little things help so much "proving" a channel has merit- I'm still over a month away from the mandatory 2-month wait before they even let you reach the third tier of "approval". Creating something I never thought I could thanks to AI giving me a voice to sing with has been so emotional for me, fulfilling a dream I had given up so long ago, and sharing this is something I wanted to do whether anyone else cared or not. Each person who stops to listen is another person I can imagine at that concert I always fantasized singing in, and I am so grateful to all of you! I've also enable comments on YouTube now, so... Here's hoping the wider audience of the internet doesn't make me regret that ;b
