I don't understand how this platform works.
It took me hundreds of hours to fine tune my latest model to where it is now, adjusting weights, testing on hundreds of images every time to make sure it produces intended results. And what I get? A few dozen likes. While an image of a butt on a home page is getting hundreds of reactions. Curated list, my ass. Pun intended.
It feels like all this effort is wasted. I clearly can't generate anything interesting either. And I don't want to participate in this rat's race anymore.
Am I late to the party with outdated models? I can't run Flux or Z1 locally so SDXL/IL/Pony are my only options. I probably need a break from this, work on new models just for myself. It feels like Civitai is no longer worth the effort.
