Friday at last! And here is my promised fourth release off of my first album, Neon Tides, called Neon Ghost.
This bittersweet and yearning song is about love, or more precisely a dream of love. Chasing a Neon Ghost, an illusion of light whose voice is only a faint hum always out of reach, through falling cherry blossoms and rainy nights. The Neon Ghost is the dream of being in love, or being able to love oneself, or any desire so dear to your heart that it feels real, yet always vanishes when you reach out to hold it. She's already away...
This song really comes from my heart, the feelings I tried to put into it and color imagery I hope stirs more imagination than just the literal images, and I hope listening to it you can hear the faint laughter (or was it just a flicker?) of the neon ghost you are chasing.
I have been suddenly busy after releasing my Prismaris Lore Article on Wednesday, and getting such kind feedback and even many of my friends wanting to share their own characters and ideas, and so I rushed my Silver City Lore article out ahead of schedule so everyone could more easily imagine and add to the main city I am focusing my stories there on- the city where my popstar OC (Foxy) seen in these music videos lives! Releasing the lore so I could explain who she is and a little bit about why she is my avatar in these videos has been a goal since before the first song release, and I'm finally nearly there! Originally I was going to do Silver City and Foxy together in one article, but changes in priorities changed my mind. Now I will focus on giving Foxy her own, more detailed article next week, so I hope that is maybe fun for everyone, too.
